She's not only a visiting faculty at IBA for the past nine years but also a soft skills guru, spreading her wisdom to eager minds. With an unwavering passion for the social sector, Tabish has spent the last 17 years transforming lives across various issues like Education, Health, and more. When she's not in her professional avatar, she finds solace in playing tennis and devouring books to share knowledge. But her true dream? To conquer Mount Everest base camp one day, all while keeping her knees and back in tip-top shape."

A dentist by training, she seamlessly transitioned into nutrition, corporate wellness, and clinic management, embodying versatility in her career. Passionate about helping others, Tayyaba thrives on making a difference while juggling her love for reading and exploring new destinations. Whether it’s the serenity of the mountains or the allure of the beach, she finds joy in both—always seeking inspiration for her next adventure. With her unique blend of skills and interests, she continues to inspire change and pursue her love for discovery and growth.

Ali Shahid Pansota

"Meet Ali, our property pro with degrees from RMIT (Australia) and the University of London! With over 10 years under his belt, Ali has a knack for leading big real estate projects, from land deals to tricky valuations. He's got a soft spot for where tech meets real estate, dreaming of smart cities while not-so-secretly plotting his next hike. You might also catch him exploring local coffee spots or adding to his ever-growing book collection. Fun fact: He once bravely ran a restaurant (and lived to tell the tale of a few burnt pizzas!)."

Karim Navroz Ali

Shayan Zafar

"Shayan went on to pursue her Bachelor in Management Sciences from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). She derives a sense of purpose from being able to help others and provide them with emotional and / or mental support in their times of need. With a lively soul, Shayan has mastered the art of channeling and unleashing her creativity, by taking on interior designing as a side hobby and playing the ukulele."

Jibran Naeem

"With an MBA from Bahria University and over 7 years of experience in fundraising, digital marketing, and corporate partnerships, before moving to KDSP, Jibran has had the pleasure of working with Shaukat Khanum, Institute of Business Administration, and the Akhuwat Foundation. In his free time, he enjoys playing games that challenge his mind rather than his muscles, and is an avid reader of mystery novels!

Ali Raza

Senior Manager Systems, Procurement & Administration

With a background in computer sciences, Ali has transitioned seamlessly into the social development sector, driven by a strong desire for social work. This journey has equipped him with a diverse set of skills, including systems design thinking, systems analysis, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and project analysis. Recognizing the importance of managing large-scale projects, Ali recently completed his Master's degree in Project Management from Szabist. Eager to apply these newfound skills, he looks forward to making a meaningful impact in future projects. Beyond his professional pursuits, he is passionate about playing tennis and setting aggressive fitness goals. Despite having explored most of Pakistan, his yearning for traveling to the Northern areas of the country never wanes. Ali aspires to be in a position where he can create a positive impact in the community through system-driven design innovation.

Unaiza Shoaib

"Unaiza is a graduate in Development Studies and a passionate development practitioner. Over the past four years, she has dedicated herself to addressing social issues across the nation, starting with her work in public health at Indus Hospital. As a community specialist, she focused on public health, legal aid, and education, before transitioning to her current role at KDSP, a leading NGO supporting individuals with Down syndrome. Unaiza’s career has allowed her to grow both professionally and personally, particularly in the areas of community engagement and family support."

Menaab Umer

Assistant Manager Family Support

Beyond her professional role, Menaab is a dedicated fitness enthusiast, earning the title of a "gym rat" with a special affinity for running on the treadmill. Her love for dancing and choreography is not only a passion but a skill set that she has shared with the KDSP community. An individual with a keen sense of auditory memory, Menaab possesses an exceptional ability to guess songs within the first 2 seconds of hearing them (we have tested it). Her memory is not only limited to music; she excels at recalling movie dialogues and song lyrics better than anyone else. Driven by a deep sense of empathy and a desire to make a positive impact, she aspires to help adolescents navigate their mental health problems. Her commitment is reflected in her mission to create a supportive and empowering environment for those in need."

Huma Anjum

Family Support Officer

Huma is a multi-tasking and multi-talented individual with a background in psychology and literature. Her experience in literature and exploring new ideas has been evident in her impressive collection of books. Huma's passion for cooking has transformed her into an amazing food entrepreneur. Her experience as a former traained primary teacher has helped her impart knowledge and engage with students. Huma advocates for inclusion and is committed to making a positive impact in her community through education and awareness.

Sarah Asif

Assistant Manager Awareness

Sarah is bright, loves making friends, and enjoys talking about random fun topics, so don't hesitate to approach them and start a conversation! She graduated from IBA Karachi in 2023 with a degree in Social Sciences, majoring in Psychology. So far, she has worked in the development sector at organizations like NOWPDP and The Indus Hospital. Sarah has a passion for watching anime, especially SUPER SAD films, exploring new coffee shops, and attending every popup bazaar they can find. They are deeply committed to working for good causes and aspire to become a licensed therapist in the future.

Samrat Channa

Assistant Manager Awareness

Samrat is a Habib University graduate with her degree in Social Development and Policy. Her academic interests lie towards integrating visual experiences from daily lives with research, and also did a project about wall chalking in the city! She absolutely loves coffee and requires at least 4 cups to function every day. She also knows how to play the harmonium and holds music very close to the heart. I am also obsessed with films, especially the noir genre from the 40s and 50s.

Arooba Khan

Arooba has successfully completed a Master of Arts in Graphic Design from Punjab University, Lahore. Throughout the program, she demonstrated her ability to effectively combine theory and practice through specific research on visual aids in improving language acquisition and communication skills among deaf children, aiming to bridge educational gaps and foster inclusive learning environments. With a passion for visual communication, she is well prepared to make a meaningful contribution to the design industry or pursue further research in the field. Outside of work, she loves cooking so much that her kitchen thinks it's a 24/7 food lab, with her as the mad scientist whipping up delicious experiments!

Haya Yawar Awan

Furthermore, she has honed her spelling and grammar skills to perfection, earning her the title of a spelling champ and a vigilant grammar enthusiast."

Nadia Ashiq

“Nadia has a Doctorate of Physical Therapy as well as a Masters of Physical Therapy from Liaquat National Hospital (LNH) with a Physical Therapy American License to her credit. As the Head of the Physical Therapy department at KDSP, Nadia is viewed as quite down to earth and humble by her colleagues and parents of children with Down syndrome. She often likes to recharge over the weekend by going out for cycling early in the morning or late in the evenings.”

Faiza Wahab

Head of Speech Therapy

Faiza Wahab completed her Bachelors in Speech Language Therapy from Ziauddin University in 2011. Her passion for working with children with Down Syndrome has been unwavering. She's completed TalkTools level 1 & 2, the Professional Course in Hearing Rehabilitation and is currently pursuing her Master's degree, so she can serve the community better. Her other passion in life is loving and rescuing cats!

Shafaq Iqbal

Head of Occupational Therapy

Shafaq graduated as a BSOT from Dow University of Health Sciences in 2015 and began her career from working at KDSP in the same year. She was one of the first therapists to work at KDSP! Fast forward to 2025, Shafaq is now leading the Occupational Therapy team at KDSP since 2023. She has recently completed her professional certification in 'Handwriting Without Tears' from Learning Without Tears, USA. Instead of using conventional ways of therapies, she likes to introduce creative ways of therapies to her clients which are fun and very effective. Besides being an OT, Shafaq describes herself as a light-hearted, caring individual who’s up to playing Sequence anytime. She also does some blogging out of her love for the pilgrims and calls it her passion. If you are a team member, you can always come up to her for Umrah-related preparations and advices. She will even give you free goodies (exclusively for team KDSP) that she makes herself!

Mahma Mansoor

“With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the Institute of Professional Psychology, Bahria University, Mahma brings her passion for understanding the human mind to her role in the Skills Development Department. When she's not busy developing new programs for the organisation, Mahma enjoys researching unsolved crimes and mysteries, putting her detective skills to the test. She's also a huge fan of period dramas and complex characters that keep her on the edge of her seat. Mahma's unique interests and playful spirit make her an invaluable member of the KDSP team."

Ayesha Shahid Mehmood

Ayesha holds Bachelors degree in Psychology from Bahria University and is an International Behavior Therapist (IBT). In addition to her role at KDSP, she is an exceptionally talented painter, known for her stunning landscape artworks, and always on the quest for the perfect brush collection. Ayesha is also the kind of person you'd always want to turn to when you need someone to talk to, as she is a great listener, always ready to lend an ear for anything and everything.

Farhana Allah Bachai

"Farhana has a Masters in Special Education from the University of Karachi. Known for her multi-tasking skills amongst family and friends, Farhana is a firm believe in Steve Job’s quote "Love what you do, do what you love". As a result, not only is she a Certified Doctor of Homeopathy, but also a Sufi singer and a Nasheed reciter. A positive aura surrounds Farhana and she believes that is what drew her toward natural healing through homeopathy and working with children in the educational field."

Areeba is a Psychology graduate from Bahria University, Karachi with valuable experience with individuals with special needs, including at Pakistan Center for Autism, C-ARTs and Beebale Therapy Center. She absolutely loves cooking for her family and is immensely interested in exploring new places. She also claims to be able to eat a whole pizza in one sitting! She's the cute friend who arrives early but still waits outside because she doesn't want to be the first one inside.

Mahzaib is a Psychology graduate from Bahria University. She holds great passion for child psychology so she can support the well-being and development of children in all ways possible for her in order to be able to foster a more inclusive and supportive community. Rida holds a Bachelor of Science from Rana Liaquat College of Home Economics, with specializations in Special Child Education, Child Psychology and Family Counseling. She has also gained valuable experience through internships at Liaquat National Hospital and DEWA Institute. Outside of work, she binges on TV shows, experimenting with makeup looks, and traveling to new places.

Khulood Naeem

Education Facilitator

Khulood holds a psychology degree and has diverse experience in psychological assessments and also in the creative industry. She has co-founded a personalized gifting company that goes by the name: Sealed Sentiments. Some of her interests include befriending and petting stray dogs & cats. She is also a seasoned marathon runner and does Netflix marathons every weekend. Also, if you find yourself craving for some killer Khausa, Khulood is the person you come to!

Faiza Azeemi

Education Facilitator

Faiza has completed her bachelors in Psychology from Bahria University, and plans on pursuing clinical psychology in te future, but at the moment is interested in exploring the field of Child Psychology. She loves singing and very beautifully plays the guitar - always up for some jamming anywhere, anytime! She also owns an adorable dog, a 4 year old Labrador, Bamzi.

Alizah holds a degree in Professional Psychology from Bahria University and is also certified as an NLP practitioner. She is known for her kindness, empathy, and exceptional listening skills, which allow her to create a judgment-free space where people feel comfortable sharing their thoughts. She finds excitement in capturing moments, thrill in reading books, and joy in sipping coffee.

Umme Farwa

Education Facilitator

With a passion for understanding minds through clinical psychology, research, and human behavior, Farwa brings hands-on experience in assessments, treatment plans, and leading fun group activities. She's also got a curious mind for the tech side of psychology. While Farwa might impress you with her knowledge of random trivia, don't be surprised if she's momentarily searching for her phone... possibly near the snacks. On a more melodious note, she can also strum a tune on the guitar!

Maryam Erum Zaib

Maryam is an associate clinical psychologist with a master’s in Clinical Psychology. She is a certified trauma-informed therapist and is currently training to become an EMDR practitioner. She enjoys taking walks, discovering random facts, and occasionally cooking. In her free time, she loves watching documentaries and reading webtoons, manga, and novels. She is passionate about mental health awareness and creating inclusive spaces where everyone feels supported and valued.

Falak Waseem

Resource Teacher

Falak completed her Master’s in psychology from University of Karachi, and is now looking forward to pursuing further studies in the same field. Alongside her work at KDSP as a Resource Teacher, she has also been tutoring for several years. When Falak’s not working or studying, she can be found immersed in a good novel or enjoying some quiet downtime at home. Cooking is one of her favorite hobbies—she loves experimenting with new recipes and creating something delicious. Additionally, a fun fact about her is that she tends to dive headfirst into things she’s passionate about, often feeling both the thrill and the pressure at the same time.

Eisha Rahmani

Resource Teacher

Eisha is a psychology graduate and the coolest teacher one can dream of! You can always find her doing something extraordinarily fun, like working out, baking, volunteering, reading thrillers or writing.

She loves Burmese pythons and has also held one around her neck! And oh my god-she's also 'ambidextrous', which means she is able to use both her dominant and non-dominant hands for just about anything, whether it’s playing cricket, badminton, or cooking!

"Zainab is a super-talented Paediatric Physical Therapist who's been bossing it with kids since 2012. Armed with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Baqai Medical University and stints at AKUH and her own private practice, she's now killing it as a Senior Physical Therapist at KDSP. When she's not rocking her job, Zainab is a loving mom to her six-year-old daughter. Together, they get up to all sorts of mischief, from making arts and crafts to going on outdoor adventures. And when Zainab needs some "me time," you can find her nose-deep in a gripping book. "

His experience at Liaquat National Hospital (LNH) allowed him to treat diverse patients, including those with neurological conditions and post-orthopedic surgeries. He developed a passion for pediatric rehabilitation, focusing on improving the quality of life for young clients.
