Joining Hands with the Aga Khan University

KDSP and Aga Khan University partnered within the areas of healthcare and education for the benefit and inclusion of individuals with Down syndrome. This collaboration will include extending paediatrics, paediatric cardiology, ophthalmology, ENT, nutrition, and physical therapy services for individuals with Down syndrome at the Down Syndrome Clinic of Aga Khan University Hospital. Along with offering an international joint course on ‘Inclusive Education for Children with Intellectual Disabilities’. This is a professional development program that seeks to provide teachers, therapists, parents / caregivers, and educational specialists with knowledge and practical skills required to work with children with intellectual disabilities in inclusive settings.
